Australian death/doom act The Slow Death is working on a new release, shortly after their latest record Ark was released in March 19th 2015. The band lost their vocalist Gregg Williamson one year ago but continued. Their new vocalist is Gamaliel. Now they are recording new songs with rhythm guitars and drums already finished.

The band said of the new vocalist: "Hi everyone. As most of you know our male vocalist and good friend Gregg passed away in December last year. We didn't want to rush to replace him for a variety of reasons and because we didn't have to rush but now we'd like to welcome our new vocalist Gamaliel to the band. Our next release should hopefully be completed by early next year so you'll get to hear him then, but you can check out his Oracle Of The Void stuff if you are interested though you can expect the TSD vocals to be deep like previously. Thanks to all those who expressed interest in filling the position."
