Thunderstone - Join AFM Records, To Release New Album
After a few years of silence, finally today we have news about Thunderstone. It seems they have been working behind the scenes. The power/heavy metallers who were rejoined by original vocalist Pasi Rantanen in 2013 again, have signed a worldwide deal (excluding Finland and Japan) with AFM Records! The band's upcoming new album will be called Apocalypse Again and will be released on April 1st.
It's been a while since the group released new material. Dirt Metal from 2009 is their latest release. The forthcoming album drops via Sakara Records/Sony Music (Finland) and Marquee (Japan, South Korea, Taiwan).

The first official single, "The Path", will be released on February 10th, 2016.
Says guitarist Nino Laurenne: "This is in many ways a return to form?not just in a nostalgic sense, but going back to what we started with and creating something new at the same time. We really wanted to honour all the fans and friends who have stuck with us from the beginning, and I think everyone who picked up our first album all those years ago will be massively happy with Apocalypse Again. We sure as hell are! Expect melody overkill, sing-along choruses, fast lead runs and overall arse-kickery! We're back!"
