Judas Priest - To Start Working On New Material
Two years after their return with Redeemer Of Souls, iconic heavy metallers Judas Priest aren't resting anytime soon. The wheels keep on turning and the plan is to start working on new song ideas soon, according to guitarist Richie Faulkner. On March 25th, the band will release the concert film and live CD Battle Cry but they are already thinking about and preparing the band's next step.
Faulkner told GuitarWorld when asked if they are in the writing process: "That's the plan. We're going to meet up next month and go and see what ideas we've got. I'm always coming up with riffs or melodies. We get together to pore over the ideas. Hopefully the ideas are great. We have a big legacy to uphold. These guys have been doing this for 40 years. Redeemer was the first Top 10 entry on Billboard that the band has ever had. It's a great springboard, if you will. We're looking forward to getting into the studio and seeing what we've come up with."

Got to see them on their last US tour...they've definitely still got it. Halford chucked his glasses into the crowd and I wound up with them, which was awesome. Can't wait to see them again!!
