Deadlock - Premiere New Video
After announcing their new album and new singer, Deadlock are giving fans today the first glimpse into Hybris. The new song is called "Berserk" and things go a little berserk on the video itself. Give it a spin below and tell us if you are impressed with Margie Gerlitz.
Hybris is set to be released on July 8th via Napalm Records.
Vocalist John Gahlert said: "Releasing our first new song, 'Berserk,' is a dream come true for all of us, but at the same time [is] the end of a long journey as well as the starting point of our new path. Never before has a Deadlock song been so important for every single band member, never before did we invest so much blood, sweat and tears for a video. 'Berserk' is the first official song with Margie Gerlitz as our female vocalist and we're very excited to see whether our loyal supporters will feel the depth in her voice just as we do."

Not bad. Video was weird, but the song was decent. It didn't really convince me that the new Deadlock was going to be something special like the "Wolves" era though. Sounds like a step-up from Arsonist though.

Typical modern Deadlock. New singer is pretty decent but I miss Sabine's distinctive vocals. Metal is filled with tryhard female vocalists with heavy accents and it was great to have one that was both softer and without a strong accent. But otherwise the song doesn't interest me, same thing with everything these guys have made after Wolves.
