The French metallers from Klone have prepared a nice treat for their fans. On February 17th, the band will release, via Pelagic Records, their first live album. Moreover, it will be an acoustic one, titled simply Unplugged. Klone has supported Anneke Van Giersbergen during some of her unplugged European shows earlier this year and decided that their efforts deserved a separate recording.

The band writes in a statement: "The live performances to Anneke's crowd in May 2016 were a completely different but not any less rewarding experience for both audience and ourselves, as compared to our regular shows... and so it soon occured to us that these new interpretations of our songs needed to be recorded properly!"

Unplugged contains nine live songs recorded at the Théâtre de la Coupe d'Or de Rochefort, taken from Klone's last two studio albums: Here Comes The Sun and The Dreamer's Hideaway, as well as two studio songs, including a cover of Depeche Mode's "People Are People".
