Ne Obliviscaris - Part Ways With Bass Player

Australian progressive extreme metal act Ne Obliviscaris has announced that they are parting ways with their long time bass player, Brendan "Cygnus" Brown due to "irreconcilable personal differences". According to them, it will not affect the recording of their new album this year.

Here is the official statement from the band: "After much deliberation we have decided to part ways with our bassist, Brendan 'Cygnus' Brown due to irreconcilable personal differences. We know this will come as a shock to our fans. Brendan has been a big part of this band for many years, and it's a decision that has not been taken lightly. We will still be moving forward with recording our new album in the first half of 2017 as planned, and are looking forward to getting back on the road to perform for you all later this year with a new bassist on board. -NeO"

Too bad, I've seen them twice live, and he's such a cool and skilled player.

That dude was/is really good and i don't think it'll be easy to replace him. Oh well...I'm sure they know what they're doing.
