Metallica - Orchestral Tribute To "Master Of Puppets"
Vitamin Records has set an October 10 release date for "Scorched Earth Orchestra Plays Metallica's Master of Puppets", an orchestral tribute to Metallica's classic 1986 album. itamin Records celebrates the 20th anniversary of this incredibly influential album. Highlighting and building upon the epic Master of Puppets themes, The Scorched Earth Orchestra have fleshed out the entire album in this sprawling tribute. The full orchestral sound adds necessary weight while new sounds emerge from between Metallica's notes. This is a true celebration of "Master of Puppets" and a welcome addition to any collection. what i'm curious about is, will this be a strictly orchestral thing, or will it be more like S&M, but with the orchestral recordings added to the original album? they make it sound kinda like it's the latter, but they never say specifically. i suppose it could also be with newly recorded guitar/drum/bass/vocal parts, and then with the orchestra also...
