BardSpec - Ivar Bjørnson's Ambient Project Reveals New Song
A few weeks ago, BardSpec, the ambient side-project from Enslaved composer/guitarist/vocalist Ivar Bjørnson Peersen and Today Is The Day's Steve Austin revealed details of their debut album, as well as the song "Fire Tongue". Now, another insight into the album, Hydrogen, to be released on June 23rd via By Norse Music, is online. Listen to the new track "Bone" below.
"Bone" in Ivar's words is "a song that is a meditation upon the concepts of strength and endurance, in the micro and the macro. How evolution has made us upright and made to be on the move - and how hard it can be to adapt those features into the realms of our psyche - so that we can undergo the mental evolution that is dormant within us."
