2021 isn't wasting any time with drama. On January 6th the U.S. Capitol building was overrun with armed protesters during the final senate certification of the presidential election. This caused the meeting to be temporarily postponed and elected officials to be escorted out. These individuals were caught on camera vandalizing offices, breaking windows, and attacking police officers.

Today, Washington police released 38 images of individuals who are suspected of unlawful entry during these attacks. Among these images is suspected to be Iced Earth mastermind Jon Schaffer. The image shows Jon, maskless, inside the Capitol building in the front of the crowd.




Jon Schaffer has never been shy about his political position and has been seen wearing a Confederate flag during metal shows. He has also been outspoken about his mistrust in government and denial of the pandemic.
