Sarissa - Guitarist And Founding Member Died
Greek power metal purveyors Sarissa revealed via their FB page that the band's guitarist and founding member, Dimitris Selalmazidis, has passed away.
Vocalist Tassos Krokodilos stated: ''Dear friends of Sarissa. It is with great sadness that I announce that Sarissa founder Dimitris Selalmazidis is no longer near us. His heart betrayed him and left for the great journey today at dawn. All of us musicians who have been around lately, former members of Sarissa , his friends and most importantly his family are devastated and will forever remember him."
