Carcass - Announce And Detail New Studio Record
British veterans Carcass announce the release of their new full length album, Torn Arteries, their first one in 8 years. Due out September 17th, 2021 via Nuclear Blast Records, the outing contains 10 tracks. You can also give a listen to the first streaming single, "Kelly's Meat Emporium".
Jeff Walker comments: "I think as our 7th album, it does stand out from the others both sonically and stylistically. You can definitely tell that it's Carcass; when you drop that needle on the vinyl, when you hear that guitar tone, you can tell it's Bill Steer, but each album is always a product of its time."

Not too keen on the single tbh, not too sure about the lyrics, and the riffs were average for Carcass standards, I hope the rest of the album is better, I've been waiting a long time for Carcass to release a new album, hope I'm not too disappointed.

I stumbled on this news accidentally first from Brooklyn Vegan as I was there looking for info about the sold-out upcoming preorder editions for Slow, Deep And Hard. Upon a brief search, it seemed they were never agenda-based in terms of flaunting it so I definitely doubt the seriousness of their vegan claim. After all, no one should be torturing themselves with that.
