Dream Theater - Announce & Detail New Studio Album


Legendary progressive metal band Dream Theater revealed several informations about their upcoming new studio album. It's entitled A View From The Top Of The World and it will include seven new tracks, with one 20-minute long among them. The successor to 2019's Distance Over Time will land in stores on October 22th this year via Inside Out Music.

Dream Theater are also planning to hit the road in support of the new album. The 'Top Of The World Tour' of North America kicks off on October 28th in Mesa, AZ and runs through December 14th where it concludes in St. Petersburg, FL.

03. Invisible Monster
04. Sleeping Giant
05. Transcending Time
06. Awaken The Master
07. A View From The Top Of The World

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy them, but the 48-minute jam sessions halfway through some of their tracks get way too fucking old. I love it when they play heavy, and tracks like Paralyze from their most recent offering are a solid example of that. Wish we could get that on an album from wall to wall
