Numenorean - Guitarist Announces Disbandment

It appears that post-black metallers Numenorean have disbanded. Guitarist Roger LeBlanc announced the news on a Facebook post which has now been deleted. The post mentioned allegations of sexual assault against one former member and one current member of the band.

The deleted post has been replaced on Facebook by a black photo with the logo of the band and the words "RIP 2011-2021". The person(s) handling the account has(ve) limited who can comment on this post.

Paradoxical

Sigh! Along with Triptykon and Belakor, I had these guys in my list of ''highly anticipated albums'', whenever they come out.

Hopefully we'll get to hear something new from Roger soon.

I have no idea what happened and I cannot find anything on the internet but I am wondering how someone who is not a founding member can disband a band.

Here's a thumbs-up for you, just so you know that my cheeky comment that you're referring to (and still chewing on?) wasn't meant to be dead serious at all.
Peace?

That's unfortunate news! I was hoping to see them live in the Netherlands. I'm sure others felt the same about seeing them live or anticipating the next album. Indeed, RIP..

Nah, sounds like there was a sex pest in the band so it's entirely justified.

Such a shame. They were one of the most promising bands and so great to watch live! Adore will always have a special place in my heart.
Was so looking forward their next album.
RIP!

They're the reason I created that account (it was to vote abuse Adore lol), quite an important band for me, pretty sad they're going away
