It's been five years since power metal legends Jag Panzer released their latest album The Deviant Chord, but that's about to change as the band just announced on their Facebook page that they will enter the studio this June to begin recording their next album, entitled The Hallowed, and they are scheduled to begin mixing and mastering it in August. The record is due out later this year.

The band's statement on Facebook reads: "Colorado based heavy metal band Jag Panzer will enter the recording studio in June 2022 to record their new studio album entitled The Hallowed. The album is the band's 2nd concept album. Mixing and mastering are scheduled to be completed in August 2022. The album will be recorded at various studios and mixed by Jim Morris at Morrisound Studios. The cover artwork has been completed by Dusan Markovic."
