Three years after the release of their last album Heresy II - End Of A Legend, German thrashers Paradox now work hard on the follow-up dubbed Mysterium. The recording progress is currently underway. Mix is scheduled in June and mastering in July.

Mastermind Charly Steinhauer comments: ''Short album update for you: I have now recorded all the instruments for the new album Mysterium. Right now I'm recording the vocals. The result is impressive and I am very satisfied and proud that I managed this challenge without any loss of quality.

"It's a cliché phrase with every new album to say that it's the best album. It's impossible to please everyone, but true Paradox fans get what they expect. Nothing is safer than that! It's pretty fast and pretty heavy. Peppered with dark parts. I wonder how I did it but I did. This is obviously going to be a blast.

"I will mix the album in June and have it mastered in July. I was able to get "Daxx" back for the lyrics. It's an honor to work with him again. Travis Smith has already sent me the first drafts for the cover. I'm excited. I can't wait to show you these awesome songs. A release should be possible sometime in the fall. Cheerz!"
