Zebra - To Release Next Album In June
In a recent interview with 'Newsday', Zebra frontman/lead guitarist Randy Jackson confirmed that the band's long-awaited new album has been recorded and is tentatively due out this June. The 12-track record's release will coincide with Zebra's 50th anniversary and it sees the band reunited with Jack Douglas, who produced 1983's Zebra and the following year's No Tellin' Lies.
Randy Jackson said: "The record will feature a variety of songs. We got some stuff from 1977 we never recorded, songs I penned with other people and a bunch of tunes that I wrote recently. It's evolving as we're doing it."
Jackson also commented on Jack Douglas' involvement with the new record: "We are looking forward to collaborating with Jack again. This is the first time we worked on Zebra stuff since 1984. We’re going to see what he's learned and what we've learned over the last 40 years."
