Metallica - 2nd Single Available On Www.Metallica.com And ITunes
Metallica just released the second single off their upcoming album, Death Magnetic today. Entitled "My Apocalypse", the track is now available on www.metallica.com and for download on iTunes. Metallica fans should also check out iTunes where you can also purchase the riveting track "The Day That Never Comes" which premiered last week.

Additionally, the band have recently unveiled a new widget that the band will frequently updated with news, a trailer for their MissionMetallica.com fan site, and other Death Magnetic related material. The widget can be embedded onto most social networking sites and blog applications.

Written by +{Jonas}+ on 26.08.2008 at 21:55 hahahaha you couldnt not expect that question to come LOFL i will concede that some of the songs on st. anger are musically palatable but for the most part i found it to be a very un-Metallica album and was disappointed with its contents. if i werent in my school library right now i'd listen to the song but once it started to come out of the speakers i would be bludgeoned to death with may volumes of encyclopaedias, surely to never regain full cognitive function ever again.

It just sounds to me like this is a limp-wristed attempt at making some thrash metal with the intention of pleasing the fans. Which is great and all, but it doesn't feel like the band actually want to be playing this to me. You know, this is the musical equivalent of being in school and copying the person next to you's work.. just the person next to Metallica here is Slayer.

The Day That Never Comes is really good but My Apocalypse is not as good. Let's wait to hear the rest of the album, but still is really nice to see that Metallica are back!!!

Not bad. I like it better then The Day That Never Came. It'll never be the same as their old material but its definitely a step up from St. Anger. One thing I found really annoying though...was Lars snare drum. Its always annoyed me but I just found more annoying that ever before in this song.

I think it's pretty okay, but The Day That Never Comes was better. Yeah I don't think the production is very good. The drums are way too loud. Is this the final production? If I were them I would lower the drums...
