An album made by a melodic death metal band with power metal influences? Well since I'm a fan of both genres this album should be like bread and butter to me right? Ehh, I wouldn't put it like that, but Esoteric certainly is effective in some areas, even though it does have its weaker tracks as most albums do.

This is one of those "eagerly anticipated" albums that took quite some time to be recorded and released... this is also one of the very few eagerly anticipated albums that actually lived up to the expectations. A stellar release that only gets stronger and more impressive every time I listen to it.

To me this album is their weakest album but there are some good songs on it like "Misery's Supremacy" and "Linger In Doubt".

A very good album, IMO... better than "Stone's Reach" by Be'lakor I think...

A lot of tracks remind me of Dimmu Borgir's music, though I'm not sure why. Perhaps it's the symphonic instrumentation.

Like, i don't know what's happening in the metal world when literally one of the best melodic death albums of all time goes unnoticed like this... esoteric in UNBELIEVABLE

I know I'm probably overrating it, but I can't help but to say this is the BEST metal album EVER... There's not even one boring or average song, I´ve been listening to this for more or less one year, and I never get tired... All the songs are epic, brutal, melodic, and complex at the same time... And the mix of the keyboards and guitars is brilliant... 10/10

This is such a good melodeath album. A rare gem in a generally boring genre.

Stunning Cactus
I keep coming back to this band. These guys have some genuinely unique and killer riffs and they never fail to go into a God-awesome chorus in nearly every song. This is just about my favorite metal sound I could possibly conjure up in my imagination.

2021 EDIT: If only the production was up to par. This would be an easy 10.
