I simply don't understand why Bring Me The Horizon has been "blacklisted" from this site. Surely their music is metal.

I get the feeling that people don't want the band on Metalstorm purely because they don't like them. Sorry, but that isn't a good enough reason. They should be on this site, and if people want to rubbish them and rate them poorly, then feel free to do so...

As I understand it bands only get added if enough people request it. I assume if the demand was there they'd be represented.

They're not on Encyclopaedia Metallium either, but that will be cus the moderators tale exception to the band. I didn't think Metal storm worked that way.

Although I despise both bands, I'm confused as to why BMTH is blacklisted yet Suicide Silence is allowed.

2. no nazi stuff

I'm actually against banning NS bands, bring them out into the open, I don't think locking them away in the "lets ignore these guys" cupboard really holds any benefit. Bring them out into the open so we can discuss, critique etc.

An interesting thought. Though I don't think they should be getting that (or any) type of attention.

It's the old argument against prejudice. I'm sure there's a Croatian version but in Britain we have the BNP, a far right political party. Many think we shouldn't give them air time, we should ignore them, pretend they don't exist. I'm from the camp that say's "get them air time, have them on political shows so we can challenge they're arguments and beliefs head on", kinda reckon the same attitude can work towards NS bands too.

Yup, we have our own far-right parties. I've actually heard about BNP too. I guess I agree with you. Trying to cover them up will only entice unwanted curiosity.

You're contradicting yourself. It's either silly they're not here, or they do not belong. One excludes the other.

And who frankly gives a flying fuck if the majority likes them or not, that should NOT be a criteria of any kind.

(Let it be known for the sake of the argument that I've never played a BMTH song, and I don't think that fact is about to change in the nearest future)

Limp Bizkit were cool when I was 14, I thank Christ they're not here...

Well you see, Limp Bizkit aren't metal and BMTH are.

I listened BMTH for a little while, but I got really sick of them. Deathcore in general is terrible, but I guess it's metal.

I really don't care either way if they're on the site or not. If they are added then they're gonna get A LOT of bad reviews.

I HATE DEATHCORE... but having heard this band a few times it just made me want to shoot someone it was just thatr bad, and i hate to call it metal so im going to stick withe the hated term "screamo"
now to the people who want this band to be added what will happen is this, youll add all of their albums and get the band visible, and then "haters" of the band will rate the albums low, even though they dont have them.

Bring Me The Horizon has nothing to do with Screamo whatsoever. DEeathcore it is with some slight grindcore thrown into the equation. And albeit shit it still is metal.

There are worse Deathcore bands out there than BMTH , They are at the forefront of the genre so they attract the most hate. Its good that the band quite frankly doesnt give a shit about the amount of hate they recieve from the metal elitists.

But they totally disqualified themselves whatsoever when they stated in a Terrorizer issue that Napalm Death didn't play grindcore (they were made to listen to a song of one of the first two ND albums btw)

Wow..... That is quite a silly thing for them to say.... If ND arent Grindcore ... then what is? But i think the band attracts a lot of unnecessary hate Such as "This band is shit" or "Bring me the Horizon are emo poser faggots" These are comments you can find on any youtube metal video by people who probably have not heard there music or listened to it with bias and just followed what everyone else is saying (not saying that is always the case though).

I just want to say i all for ANY metal band on this site... also if people complain about this band why not underoath or parkway drive?...
