a nice raging slab, Static Tensions retains a more raw sludge approach when compared to their fellow Georgians Baroness' and Mastodon's 2009 releases. "Only One" is a sweet ass track. Delving into Kylesa's back cat as a mildly enjoyed Exhausting Fire and hear their previous few records were much better - they've clearly lightened up since this, but whilst the sludgy/stoner psychedelic hard rock from EF is appealing, I do enjoy this record rather a lot
