Am I ever glad I stopped reading my Taxation textbook to listen to this album. Awesome album. This is precisely the kind of album I've been waiting for all year. One that blew me away from the beginning moments of the first song.

A great album indeed and maybe even the best debut of the year. Maybe. It reminds me a lot of Grey Waters and the fascination for their EP has worn off quite fast. Let's see if this album can keep my attention for a longer time.

Sounds interesting. Will check it out.

Sounds pretty damn sweet after one listen. Will give it more time and rate it afterwards.

It does indeed bear some resemblance to Agalloch's Ashes, so Fagalloch it is... xD

Beginning to think it was just me but yeah I agree, the vocals are a little off-putting for me. Some wonderful music no doubt.

After the disappoint of Old Silver Key this band comes as a nice surprise! It sounds so fresh and new. shoegazy metal FTW.

I also have to admit I help remember this band by remembering that their name is so similar to Agalloch.

A little late to the party as usual...

I'm disappointed by this. Not because it's bad, but because it could have been a lot better. The vocals are incredibly weak here and totally detract from the atmosphere the music creates. Top-notch songwriting though. Soothing, yet varied.

Yeah, good/great songwriting but zero originality and irksome vocals. Nothing special anyway.

I found this a really strong release. The structure of the songs isn't drowned by the atmospheric part of it and that's really nice. The vocals could be better (though i don't find them bad at all) but the melodies that are in them are captivating.

Don't see what's wrong with the vocals personally, i love them.

This album is fantastic, it's not the most original album out there, but the instrumentals are just perfect, and just when it's starts to get repetitive, it ends.

No it's not close mindedness, the vocals were just not that good (as in the sound of his voice), kinda flattened the mood.

I don't know, I've listen to it again all weekend and this morning it was even better, I can see why people don't like it though, they aren't your perfect band by any means, but I find the amaturistic vocals as very emotional, and this has lots of atmosphere and little

I absolutely love this release. Took me a while to get into it. A very weird blend of music but it all works out pretty damn well. Great album.

The vocals sound good, not outstanding but nice. The folk-post blend is really nice in this one.

An unlikely mix (post-rock and folk metal), but it works. I love the way they compose.....what a great team! This album is beautiful.

Really love the music on this album. Didn't mind the vocals at first, but they grew irritating the more I listen, though sometimes I don't mind them. Kinda interested to see how the vocals work on the next album.

After being initially turned off by the vocals, I decided to give this another chance. I'm still not a huge fan of the vocals, and I do like clean vocals but the music is an awesome posty folky mix that really conjures images of the emerald isle. Hopefully their new lead singer is better on the next album which I am actually psyched for now.

A lovely stew of Agalloch-esque soundscapes with Alcest-esque cleans, all with a dash of unoriginality. Though Falloch may attempt to emulate the sound of these two great bands, they do so very poorly. While shoegaze may be a genre I quite like, the recycled guitar work and weak vocals really put this album down.

Great album. Hard to pick out a single great track though.
