Power Quest - New Tour Dates Announced
Following a successful first show with new vocalist Colin Callanan in Wakefield in November, UK power metallers Power Quest are pleased to announce they will be returning to Europe in March 2012 as special guests of German power metal legends Freedom Call. Prior to that tour, Power Quest will be starting 2012 by headlining Day 1 of the Arctic Festival in London, at the Bridgehouse2, on Friday, January 6th, 2012.
The band also posted the following message: "In the meantime, once again, the Power Quest camp would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and all the very best for the coming year. Thank you for all your support during 2011, especially everyone who came out to see us at Bloodstock, Hammerfest, on tour with Symphony X and Crimson Glory or at one of our own headline shows in the UK and Europe! See you somewhere on tour in 2012!"

Whoever goes to one or more of these shows will be very lucky indeed! I presume more people will go for FC than PQ for all or at least most of the shows but interestingly a few people who I know saw both bands play in Wakefield last month (on separate dates, both on a Sunday) said the attendance was greater for PQ than it was for FC.

I'd kill to see PQ live! Me and my best friend would be at the front, rockin' out like maniacs! We started listening to the band long ago just as a joke, because it was so damn cheesy, after a couple of years (and too many beers one evening) we realised that we could sing along to every song and that we quite liked (loved) it.

Having seen them four times, I can safely say if you get the chance to see them do it. The new Vocalist is amazing too.
