Alcest - To Join Opeth On European Tour


Earlier this year, Opeth announced their tour dates for an European Tour. Alcest have now revealed that they are going to join them on this tour, in support of the release of Opeth's new album Pale Communion. The French group also has a new album, Shelter, to present. If you have the chance to go, do not miss this lineup!

What an odd combination...but I guess if you consider their recent albums regressions then they're perfect for eachother.

To me this was totally unexpected, but as you saying, it does make sense when you listen to their latest efforts. I hope both bands are going to play from the whole discography though, which I believe they will do! Looking forward to this immensely!

Opeth is definitely gonna mix it up as they have been since post heritage tour. Alcest I cannot say. I hope they have a good supporting cast for their Australian tour ^.^

According to Alcest latest setlists, they have played songs from their whole discography, so I got my hopes!

Saw Alcest a few years back.. I really like their music..but it was a boring concert...maybe they will make up for it with this tour
