I just hope the lyrics aren't in Dutch, but judging by the song titles, that doesn't seem to be the case.

They have never had Dutch lyrics, so it would be weird to have Dutch lyrics this time around.

And why do you hope the lyrics aren't in Dutch? Nothing wrong with singing in a different language than English.

The lyrics in their latest single thingy were definitely in Dutch: https://terzijdehorde.bandcamp.com/album/wacht-lex-barbarorum

And I don't mind lyrics in different languages, but I just dislike my own mother tongue And Danish, yuck.

Oh that one. That oone only came along with book containing English translations of H. Marsman poems done by the band themselves, so it was a one off having an original poem as lyrics to a song.

Oh, that makes sense. I was a bit worried at first that they somehow got it into their heads that singing in their mother tongue was better or something.

Yeah, if this is similar in quality to their first EP, but in full length format, it will probably be one of my favorites of 2015

Oh yeah, there are two tracks released, by the way. The opener and closer at that.

Sounds just terrific.

Definitely a step up from the debut EP, though I didn't think it was very good to begin with so not saying much. This one has much better sound and feels a little more dynamic, though the vocalist is still pretty awful. It's ok I guess.

Song titles? 'Geryon - See Extinguished The Sight Of Everything But The Monster' is an amazing song title, and from my perspective it doesn't even make sense.

Ok actually I think it makes sense.

Enjoyable, yet the debut EP is superior making this a slight disappointment.

You lost your marbles, bro? Musically and lyrically Self is superior in every aspect except for the vocals.

I didn't check the lyrics, and music-wise, the riffs on the EP were more memorable (only listened this twice back to back, so maybe that's why...). Vocals were indeed better before.
