Nice list. I'm not sure why I concluded Omnerod was from Poland, but now I know better!

Can you tell me what a gem the fifth position hides? Also, Possession and Bathsheba are missed, if you take EP's into consideration. Respectively: blackened death and female-fronted doom.
https://ironboneheadproductions.bandcamp.com/album/possession-1585-1646
https://bathshebakills.bandcamp.com/
It's a placeholder for when I finally release some of my own material that will likely be the fifth best thing on this list Nah, it's there to separate my 4 favorites from the rest. Those first 4 are what I'd say everyone should listen to first, so it made sense to put them at the top. The others are ordered alphabetically.
Thanks for the suggestions, I do include EP's and whatnot. There are already a few of those featured and even a demo. It's funny though, I saw that Bathsheba album just last week and almost listened to it, but having it come from you in the form of a recommendation makes me a lot more inclined to do so!

Damn, I should've looked more closely

Possession and Bathsheba
Listened to both and the other Possession EP. Especially liked Bathsheba, but both definitely make the list.

I see The Serpentcult in there but not Thee PLague Of Gentlemen which I find to a better band, especially due to the vocals.

I'm terrible at remembering where bands are from, so possibly, I just don't recall them. Helpful, right?

You should
Now... Can't say I've listened to everything they did, but their last two ( Mirror Palace and The Arrogance Of Ignorance) are excellent, if you like their unique take on (extreme) prog bordering on avant stuff at times.

You also like Bathsheba, so that's not surprising.

Something about female vocals in doom metal, man in most other genres they annoy me, but they always sound so fitting in doom metal for some reason.
Listening to Thee Plague Of Gentlemen now though, it's great.

Well, I mean that Serpentcult and Bathsheba have the same vocalist
Hahahahaha, wow, how did I not notice that? I was actually going to recommend Serpentcult to Pazdzioch "yeah, this Bathsheba vocalist sounds a bit like the one in Serpentcult, bro, you should check them out"

Good to know
Next thing you know you'll be telling me the bass player from Serpentcult is also in Alkerdeel or something ridiculous like that.

And of course in The Plague Of Gentlemen since Serpentcult is Thee Plague Of Gentlemen with a different vocalist.
Well Bathesheba has Gorath connections as well and also a Saille live member.
What can I say? It's Belgium, so one big incestuous group of people

Steak Number Eight ... don't listen to Marcel
Sorry man, I never liked those guys. Good for a live show or two, but their albums did nothing for me. And I feel like they're getting way too much exposure around here anyways.

They only get that amount of exposuredue to their age. Totally not due to the music they play. How goddamned boring generic post metal can you be? Well, apparently as much as these guys.

Listened to almost all albums here and Thee Plague Of Gentlemen is the bestest best until now.
