Yes, this is definitely progressive

Seen Opeth comparisons that are apt, but I get a very heavy Sham Mirrors-era Arcturus vibe from a lot of this. Pathways is a fantastic song. I'm not entirely sure the heavier and growling parts are to the benefit of the band's sound, I don't feel like they fit here as well as in a band such as Opeth.

Playing right now. Very organic sounding for a progressive record. Not too technical - just the way I like it. Will keep listening and thanks for the rec!

^ wait, progressive music is not supposed to sound organic? A lot of progressive metal albums and modern prog do not sound organic, I agree, but the organic sound is the best. Maybe you need to listen to some 70s prog to see where all is at.

I listened to this album because it was in the awards. I enjoyed quite a bit so thanks!
