Kamelot - Stream Official Live Video From Upcoming DVD/Blu-Ray
Kamelot unveil official live video for the song "Phantom Divine (Shadow Empire)", taken from their forthcoming DVD/Blu-Ray I Am The Empire - Live From The 013. The song/video features guest appearance by vocalist Lauren Hart from Once Human.

This song is from our most recent studio release The Shadow Theory and features Lauren Hart (Once Human). During the entire Shadow Tour, this was the night opener and always set the tone for the rest of the evening. Fans tell me this song encompasses a ton of what they feel is part of the Kamelot trademark. We hope you all share in our joy for this release!"

Written by Sickle on 09.07.2020 at 01:17 I have to slightly disagree. Silverthorn was a very good album imo and was way better than the boring Poetry. But yes after that, it started going downhill although Haven had some good moments as well. The main difference I would say is that the band lost some edge and the songs became too repetitive + Tommy is imitating Roy in his moves and vocals. Not sure why, at the moment Tommy has better voice than Roy but in the past, I would prefer Roy by a little margin.

Written by Mountain King on 09.07.2020 at 21:22 Totally agreed! Silverthorn was way better than Poetry. It was dark, like Ghost Opera - which was my first record. Tommy did a great Khan impersonation on Silverthorn. And I've heard Tommy sing Khan's songs live, and does a superb job at it. But you are also right; I prefer Khan with the older songs. Very unique. Khan started to sound a little washed up on Poetry tbh, straining for those high notes. But Tommy is also 10yrs younger. But yes, the band became repetitive starting with Haven which I dub as Poetry's twin. Phantom was a disappointment, imo, not as good as Haven either. But Tommy is a excellent successor to Khan. But if Khan would rejoin, I'll say, yes. His lyrical writing is beyond inspiring.

I'm waiting for a duet between Tommy & Khan, studio & as a live guest. But if y'all want Khan, go listen to Conception's newest EP & album. The EP is way better than the album release, but both good. And Lauren Hart is amazing, and she can actually sing too. Her harsh vocals remind me of Angela Gossow-era Arch Enemy - the best moments of that band.
