Song writing is from 80s when there was one rock song, one soft ballad, one metal song, some power ballad, one radio friendly, one female friendly, one speed one tock n roll, one blues song, its written same way, each song has own structure, it's not as all before Salutations From The Ghetto Nation, but this is much better as band wrote after Salutations From The Ghetto Nation.

Sure. This is totally not "much better" than anything the band wrote after Salutations... Dude, just listen to Destroy The War Machine from 2009, it's possibly their best album yet. Space Age Playboys and Stiff Middle Finger also pee all over this.

Anyway, I don't have a lot of positive things to say about this album to be honest. There is a slight improvement over the previous releases, songwriting-wise. Except Out On Bail, no song really stands out, but at least nothing really sucks either. The production however is pretty bad. It's way too bass-heavy, guitars and drums are completely muffled in the background and sound paper-thin... And above all, Kory Clarke shoud really stop singing. I mean, he obviously can't hit a note right anymore, years of self-abuse must have ruined his vocal chords, and he sounds really tired and weak. It's almost pathetic how his voice breaks on some songs.

Altogether, it's not a good album. This is just a standard hard rock album, with none of the punkish energy and the raw, fuck-it-all attitude they used to have. I didn't expect a lot of this new release but it still makes me a little sad to see how much they have fallen.

Imo this is a very average hard rock album, nothing I would describe as bad, but nothing stand out either.
