U.S. sci-fi themed black metal band Imperialist have extended their cooperation with Transcending Obscurity Records and concurrently announce the release of their new EP, dubbed Quantum. This short but highly potent release will be out by the end of this year and acts as a precursor to their full length which is presently in the works and should see the light of day some time in 2024.

Band's statement as follows: "As we began to gather ideas for our third, full length album, we decided to look to our past. We revisited our demo, Quantum Annexation, and analyzed its core assets. We reinterpreted these songs and gave them the life and sound they deserved. This reimagining showcases where we are as a band today. In addition, this introspection has helped fortify our vision for our next LP. With a strong partnership having been established for several years with Transcending Obscurity Records, we decided to extend our cooperation with them. Their support has been crucial and we gladly continue our mission into the future together. “Quantum” is the definitive and quintessential interpretation of these songs as well as a glimpse into the next chapter of Imperialist."
