Im really not even sure what to think of that cover? mainly just what the f*ck?

I just love this, for both the artwork and the atmosphere it creates.

Well, i would say all MoonSpell albums.
The cover really reflect the theme of the album directly from the 1st look, and my fav is Sin Pecado

you're completely right. it's one of the best covers definetly.

It isn't the best quality,but you can still tell it's awesome,reminds you alot of Lord Of The Rings,maybe Emperor got their idea from this album.As for the band they are a british death/crossover group,and I want to get this album.

there are many great album covers but this one looks the best one for me

Lately Ive been taking into serious consideration what the best album cover of all time is, and then it dawned on me, it was an epiphany, I was angry with myself for not realizing it earlier, and its not even a matter of opinion, its a fact, the greatest album cover of all time is:

Sabbath bloody Sabbath, hands down best, black sabbath is spooky too.

I'd say, every cover drawn by Kristian Wåhlin is the best, but If I have to chose one, It could be this:

the first three kalmah albums all have good artwork, however, their latest, the black waltz, well, lets just say, needed a LOT better artwork, it was crap - music still good though

The mountines, the candle spruces and the way the morbid white light of wintersun reflects from this all.

You can absorb the atmosphere and be there.

I cannot really recall all the good pics I know.... but
coudnt find bigger one, but its great...

It really succeeds in describing what the album is about, what the music of The Old Dead Tree is like.... And i love the way the colours were brought together ..., really nice, though a bit strange....

That Thor's Hammer album cover seriously is the best ever!
