I honestly think the worst band names in general I have ever heard are iwrestledabearonce and We Butter the Bread With Butter. I personally would hesitate to call either band "metal," but still. Basically anything that is trying too hard to be stupid, core bands, or anything that is trying way too hard to be brutal or offensive. Like say, "Stuffing Dildos Up a Virgin's Asshole So That is Bleeds Profusely and Then Licking It." I feel that name would satisfy both categories.

Hammerfall, DragonForce, Hammerforce ... they are actually so lame, they're almost good again, just because they are so ridiculous.

My brother's band is called Shitcunt.

And they'rev nowhere near as terrible sounding as they should be with a name like that.

Do they do a cover of "Entrails Ripped From A Virgin's Cunt"? If not they should.
