That's so true.

This is probably old news by now but one of my friends told me "Time" is pushed back AGAIN to August 2009!! What the fuck man? Every damn year for the past 3 years it would have come out in Feb then pushed to August and then Feb again....Why the hell are Wintersun pushing it back for touring?? Their debut is amazing but seriously...People dont want to go to their shows and hear the same stuff over and over...finish this album and then tour!

Yes, I remember reading about that... But I was under the impression that they were waiting to release it so they could tour with the material. At this point the whole thing just seems odd. I mean, when they were having computer difficulties with the complexity of the songs? I've just never really heard about that kind of stuff before...but it IS wintersun.

On a side note, it is kind of humorous that the main ingredient for their new album is self titled.

I haven't seen them live before so I don't mind if with the old or the new album, I just want them to come!!!

You said it Marcel is just a grumpy old bastard who hates all those bands. But the Wintersun self titled album is perfection and this clearly shows in the music and the amount of time Jari spent making the album.

Hey, there's nothing wrong with being a grumpy old bastard! As you get older you tend to lose the short-lived obsessive fandom. I mean, with all due respect, I remember you used to practically hero-worship James Hetfield and Metallica, then Varg Vikernes and Burzum, then I think it was Norther or something.. Now I guess Wintersun are 'the next big thing'! It's cool that you're enthusiastic, I'm just trying to put things in perspective.

Im sick of hearing about these "computter problems", If Jari and Co. would be seriously working on the album, it would have been released already....

I hope im wrong but.. this is the feeling i have about this situation.

Besides, with that logic, Chinese Democracy is evidently the greatest album ever made or ever to be made. I find Wintersun lack depth....something in the production I think, and I'm not old or grumpy - whats my excuse?

Im not sure exactly what you mean by depth in this case but I would consider depth as either many-layered music or music with a lot of subtleties, which Wintersun is a perfect example of. If the worst thing about Wintersun is the production than it must be a great band, which it is.

I've almost lost all enthusiasm for "Time". I'll get it when it comes out of course but I'm just not that excited for it. I may have just moved on from the sound. No doubt the album be received a lot like Cynics "Traced in Air"

Same here, i can mention at least 5 albums of 2009 (assuming that this year, finally Time will come out) that i'm more excited to get.

Janne its nothing to get excited about. I was just asking a question. I don't even know what they sound like. I tried to listen to them on you tube but it wasn't working at the time. I didn't even realize I wrote i guess they're not metal. I was wondering more of what kind of metal they were. Maybe some other bands they may sound similar to. Since then I listened to them and wasn't really impressed. I'll stick to my shit core and nu metal garbage.
