Top Metal Albums Each Year I Have Been Alive 1999
|
A little list series where I list my top 20 favorite metal albums every year starting from the year I was born in.
1999 was surprisingly a really solid year for metal at least outside the mainstream, this year saw the release of the album that made me fell in love with progressive metal, the release of more classic black metal albums, more great Gothic and Symphonic albums and even some fun death and Trash metal. In my opinion if you actually look outside the mainstream of the time, the 1990's were a pretty great decade for metal all things considered. My favorite none metal albums of 1999 1. Things Fall Apart By The Roots (East Coast Hip Hop, Jazz Rap) 2. The Soft Bulletin By The Flaming Lips (Neo-Psychedelia, Psychedelic Pop) 3. When the Pawn By Fiona Apple (Singer-Songwriter, Alternative Rock) 4. Operation: Doomsday By MF DOOM (Abstract Hip Hop, East Coast Hip Hop) 5. Enema of the State By Blink-182 (pop punk) My favorite movie from 1999
