It would be a shame if Arcturus reunited with Vortex. Cause their last album where Vortex did all the vocals was their worst by far. Totally forgettable.
Now, if we could go back to the times of The Sham Mirrors or La Masquerade INfernale vocalwise now thta would be great. Garm is vastly superior to Vortex.

Well I REALLY like Vortex's voice, much more than Garm's, but I do agree with saying that The Sham Mirrors and La MasquaradeInfernale are ay better than Sideshow Symphonies. BTW, Vortex did sing too on the Masquarade album, to great effect (The Chaos Path) so maybe we'll have a reunion with both?
Oh, and I'm not sure that Vortex wrote the music on Sideshow... so the blame is on Nagash I think or whatever his name was at the time, as he used to write most of the stuff.

Also, let's hope that the chorus of cheers around Arcturus will :
1) let them realize they'd better reunite and put on some good stuff
2) put a little shame on Dimmu's side

If Garm isn't going to be a part of it, then I don't care about a reunion.

Arcturus quits on the top. Great album, world tour and DVD.

Anyway, I wish they reunite because they are one of the best metal bands!!

my idea exactly! i want garm AND vortex.

Awesome news. Exactly what I hoped for (Lamented Souls material too) when I saw the split from Dimmu.

Oh yes!!! It is a very good news!! For more of 2 years i have been waiting for this news!!!! It is the best decision for their fans and for Vortex because Arcturus have a large future unlike to dimmu.
It is a good day!!!

Regardless of whether Garm is in it or not, it's still Arcturus.

Oh come on man. We're talking about Steinar Sverd's music here. This is the highlight of Arcturus.
Don't get me wrong, Garm is a god. However Hestnaes is pretty good too and he doesn't bother me much since the core of the band's still intact.

Yeah. I personally thought Garm was a key highlight of the band's sound, apart from Sverd.

Ofcourse it is! He was one of the reasons why Arcturus disbanded. It's only natural that he should to the same in retaliation to DB.

Anyway, apparently we should thank him, because without him Arcturus maybe wouldn't be revived.

I do want to see Arcturus reunite and I do believe that many of us miss the band. In my humble opinion, Arcturus is one of the best bands that ever emerged from Norway. Hestnaes counts with my support.

ICS Vortex confirmed an Arcturus reunion show at ProgPower USA 2011 Festival. In addiction, Vortex also said "Beloved freaks! ProgPower USA 2011 will host the first Arcturus concert in 5 years. This is our first performance in the United States, and since we're all retarded, probably the last.

Empyrium and now Arcturus this year keeps geting better "aside from the metal musicians massacre"
the last effort by the band was outstanding and had a great impact on me , hope they will move in the same direction if they did reunite and release something totally unpredictable .

Arcturus will play their next gig in september 2011 in USA!

They'd better have Garm or another person that isn't that joke from Dimmu Borgir on vocals.

I can barely wait for their reunion .
