Just remembered the name of a band I was looking for earlier.

Cesspool of Vermin. Again, I don't think there's really anything pukeworthy if you're desensitized enough, but it's some pretty nice imagery.

God, these bands try to be so br00tal that they end up beign downright stupid.

Agreed, I was just wondering if you thought ALL photography wasn't art.

Oh geez, no! lol Of course photography can be art, but I think it is difficult to be truly artistic with photograhy compared to other artistic mediums.

The first time i saw it, it freaked me out totally. Even now it makes me feel uneasy, its just the fact that its not "art" but an actual human being...

On the other hand, the most disturbing album art i have seen is not metal at all. Sure there some pretty sick stuff, but some of the pop album art i have seen disturbs me farm more.

Sure I have seen dead people before, its not the scene itself that disturbs me. Its the "Hey, the vocalist just blew his head of, what am i gonna do... I know, I'm gonna prop his body up and take some pics for future reference" that gets me.

Ya.... i know someone would post this.......... eventhough it is disturbing in a way unlike other album cover, it is in no way disgusting/Puke-worthy to me as the other covers such as those by waco jesus/torsofuck.........

Personally I think the thread title should read "Disgusting Album Art" or something along those lines. I highly doubt anyone has actually been brought to their knees clutching the rim of their toilet hoping they won't be seeing their dinner in reverse.

Never liked the cover art of most heavy/thrash/death bands. It's not that the covers of Cannibal Corpse, Iron Maiden, Sabbath or even Metallica are ugly, they're just meh... they make me wish that the album's had no covers. Only a few bands in the world of metal truly seem to care about their album covers/artwork, Opeth and Nightwish nail their's always and BG does well most of the time too. Call me shallow, but I want the albums in my collection to look good too, not just sound good.

It makes you wonder what kinda party the person in the picture was having!

It was this mexican grindcore (i cant remember their name, its a realllly long band name) bands album that was so disgusting i had to turn away. It looked like an actual picture of viscera (the jelly in ur abdomen), and they just threw their band name overtop, fuckin nasty.

Hammerfall - Crimson Thunder Special Comic Edition. A few years back we ordered this one to our shop and we had no idea that we'd be sent a comic book, let alone an ugly as hell, poorly drawn comic book with a ridiculous and unintelligible "plot". It's one of the ugliest, most useless things I have ever seen in my life.
