Edit:
After hearing Silencer I might be inclined to agree that it is the most insane vocals. Not too into it though...

Diamanda Galas. make sure to go listen to the first four minutes to get the full range. no one or nothing has ever terrified me as much. (lolsers guess i should have checked the first page first... although back some time in early version 3 - or even 2 - there was a similar poll in which i was the first to bring her up... so bleh! 28.03.2011 - 03:14 Written by BitterCOld on 19.03.2011 at 01:54 great minds think alike Diamanda is truly the only vocalist that still scares the living daylights out of me. Especially when I listen to Litanies Of Satan with the lights out lying in my bed. Nightmares have never been worse. Mmm. Come to think of it I think I'll torture Mr. Doctor with her when he is over for Roadburn.

That intro clip always cracks me up Aside from that, I'm not at all a fan of Torsofuck. Just a bunch of slams, nothing interesting.

28.03.2011 - 16:56 Written by Troy Killjoy on 28.03.2011 at 04:28 Oh man, I'll never look at elephants the same again after this DD On topic, probably Tomas Lindberg from The Red in the Sky is Ours-era At the Gates, he sounds completely out of this world there. But I guess that album is already claustrophobic and maddening so it all adds up.

Instead of getting nightmares because of her voice, I have a really strong urge to kick her in the face.

I hate to say it, since their is so much animosity towards the band (rightly so in places), but Twist by Korn is pretty damn maniacal.

For the record I don't listen to that for musical enjoyment, I'll just listen to it ocasionally for comedic purposes.

07.04.2011 - 18:08 Written by Marcel Hubregtse on 28.03.2011 at 03:14 I believe you are underestimating my tolerance for batshit crazy music. I'm very masochist when it comes to this kind of music. I wonder if it will beat the best experience I had (without any substance). My room needed new wallpapers so I was forced to move absolutely everything from it. Completely empty and I sat in a corner with my discman and a flashlight for the lyrics and blasted the hell out of Things Viral at night. That was the sickest thing I ever experienced tbh, the atmosphere maked me feel pain in my stomach. Now that I think of it... Khanate has one of my favorite sick vocals. That dude is fucking intense, I jumped from the floor alot of times... I also dare you to blast BOTH cds from Sadness will prevail one after the other.

@Mr. Doctor, I still haven't managed to play those 140 minutes in one go hahaha. Sadness Will Prevail is imo the vilest sickest musci and vocals ever put to disc. it would be awesome if TITD played one of the discs at Roadburn, but I serriously he doubt that will happen.
