This may sound cliche, but Silencer has the most insane vocals I've heard. IMO, they suck ass and ruin rest of the music, but they're quite maniacal.

First thing that popped in my mind when I saw the thread was Silencer. And yes, it's a shame, the music behind is pretty good, but the vocals kill it.

Yeah, I don't really mind the vocals either.

You just have to be in the right mood for them. Sometimes I can't stand them, sometimes I really enjoy em.

Diamanda is truly the only vocalist that still scares the living daylights out of me. Especially when I listen to Litanies Of Satan with the lights out lying in my bed. Nightmares have never been worse.

On topic, probably Tomas Lindberg from The Red in the Sky is Ours-era At the Gates, he sounds completely out of this world there.

But I guess that album is already claustrophobic and maddening so it all adds up.

I believe you are underestimating my tolerance for batshit crazy music. I'm very masochist when it comes to this kind of music.
I wonder if it will beat the best experience I had (without any substance).
My room needed new wallpapers so I was forced to move absolutely everything from it. Completely empty and I sat in a corner with my discman and a flashlight for the lyrics and blasted the hell out of Things Viral at night. That was the sickest thing I ever experienced tbh, the atmosphere maked me feel pain in my stomach.

Now that I think of it... Khanate has one of my favorite sick vocals. That dude is fucking intense, I jumped from the floor alot of times...

@Mr. Doctor, I still haven't managed to play those 140 minutes in one go hahaha. Sadness Will Prevail is imo the vilest sickest musci and vocals ever put to disc.
it would be awesome if TITD played one of the discs at Roadburn, but I serriously he doubt that will happen.
