This sounds like my kind of afternoon/evening

Sounds like a brilliant idea actually, literature and music. I stopped attending book readings and things because it was starting to be boring. Something like this would improve the experience for sure.

This also reminds me I haven't written poetry in a long long time.

I must say I never attended any regular book reading because, well, I never saw the point. Obviously, with music it's a different matter altogether

Oh, yeah, a timeline note. I didn't mention anything in the blog, but The Deep Ones were at 8pm of Thursday 23rd, and Ken Scholes's set happened Friday at noon

(and well, maybe it's time for you to write again?)

I guess it is because when I wrote poetry I was deeply depressed or it was an emotional period of my life. I don't like to force it, so who knows. Maybe it'll come back some day!

Well, I can't speak about poetry as it's different stuff altogether, but as far as writing stories is concerned, well, every writer I met during this week-end just told to force it if need be. Maybe what you'll write won't be good (that's what corrections and re-writing are for), but at least you'll have moved forward, and it always pays in the end

NICE. This does sound like a fun thing and prolly not as boring as a regular book reading.
