Deathcore usually has a good sound but not the best ideas. That doesn't happen with this band, who gives time to their compositions and their technical dynamics, and doesn't just fill you with brutality for doing it. Highly digestible and attractive, and without adding symphonic elements that sound out of place.

Some of the guitar work is pretty decent, it has the kind of technicality you can follow without your head spinning in all different directions, but there's nothing particularly memorable about it, for me at least. I'm not too keen on the structure as a whole, and not too keen on the deathcore elements, particularly the vocal side of things. Overall, not too bad but nothing special imo, the last track definitely stands out most for me, above the rest at least.

There is deathcore here to some degree, but it's far more than just that - Hallucinative Terror is practically euphoric with its dainty melody, while the more extreme side has as much to do with tech-death and blackened death

I really wanted to like this album more than I actually did. I acknowledge the technical composition. I acknowledge the depth and substance in the lyrics. And I did indeed quite like the closing track Caustic Burns as well as Hallucinative Terror. Wraith was good too. Because of this I'm going to stretch and give this a 7 but strictly speaking of enjoyment: wasn't there for me out side of these 3 tracks.
