At the graves?

lol

Ya, perhaps they named themselves after the King Diamond track?

Or they really like At The Gates.

I won't go that far, but it's really grown on me too. It's a bit too long to wrap your head around completely, but they do their thing incredibly well.

It's long, but I don't even notice the length. I tend to skip the first track which doesn't really fit in with the overall aesthetic but I find it so encompassing that it's over before I realise it. Generally though, I find it difficult to get bored of this kind of sound as it's something you don't have to keep tabs as such.

Really stoked about this one. Didn't listen to it yet, but this can not be bad!

You check it out, yet?

Haha, true enough. I'm torn between II and IV I think. II sounded amazing on headphones earlier but the bus trip wasn't long enough to hear much of the rest of it. Tomorrow morning on my walk to uni I shall sample the rest!

Yes. Recommended them some six months ago, it's 30th on my list at the moment. Not sure I'd straightforwardly call it sludge, there's some melodic doom and post-hardcore elements. A bit like Primordial without the folk, too. I especially love the first track.

Anybody else heard this? Pretty standard slightly blackish thrash-Assaulter, Vomitor, ect, but if you like this stuff as much as I do, you'll dig this album.

When Wood Make Graves released another album just last week (that's 2 albums in this year alone). It's a 3 track album. Name your price. His previous album is currently my favorite one this year.

Don't feel like looking through the thread, probs been posted, but if you haven't heard, Abnormality is basically the best thing ever. Brutal death that is fairly technical, but seemingly never coming across as technical for the sake of being technical.

Yeah, I made a point to not mention that. Shouldn't really impact ones view of the band. Besides, no other girl metal singer comes close to my future wife Kat from Salome/Agoraphobic Nosebleed, <3 bb you may not share my affections yet but I'll welcome you with open arms when you realize that I'm the guy for you <3.

There's been painfully little talk of Grand Supreme Blood Court, featuring Martin Vansomethingeuropean of Pestilence and Asphyx. Great stuff, its like we got two asphyx albums this year.

EDIT: Oh wait, it was mentioned on this page. Oops. Oh well, deserves to be mentioned again. Also, I must recommend Friendzone Slam artists Enpedestalment.

I agree, it shouldn't impact how a person feels about the music. And for me it doesn't, I found out she was a hot Indian chick weeks after I discovered and fell in love with that album. I was like "That's a tiny lil woman doing those monsterously awesome gutterals?!?! Dadadadaaaaaaaamn!".

And I checked out GSBC not too long ago because of the *Martin van Drunen/Asphyx connection and I wasn't really too impressed. Honestly I feel that if the good ole boys in Asphyx wanted to release 2 albums this year they didn't need to go and start another band to do so. Just sayin'...
