Very interesting black metal track, "featuring (ex) members of Glorior Belli, Woebegone Obscured, Horned Almighty etc". It has a DsO sound running through, but it has more to offer. Nice, warm lead work, which gives a direct contrast to the underlying dissonant going on. Buildup is also nice:

Folk black metal that isn't pansy-ridden crap. I get some Negura Bunget vibes here and there. Rather good I think, once you get past the slightly overly emphatic vocals.

Yeah I gave it 3 plays last night and it got better with each. Apparently they originally formed in 1991, but broke up and reformed last year.

Pretty damned cool chaotic black / crusty grind type stuff from Poland. Love the drumming and vocals: sort of sounds like a black metal version of pod vládou biče (!T.O.O.H.!) at many points.




Super evil and cavernous Portal-worship. Quite looking forward to this one. Incredible artwork too.




Massively gorgeous female fronted doom. Quite rough around the edges which makes it even better. Only 10 mins of material here but I'm sure Profound Lore will get their mitts into them at some point.




On my "to properly listen to" list, but this sounds intriguing if nothing else. Kind of a static-laden, micronoise ambient thing with post-rock inflections. I suspect this would be great on headphones for the right mood.




Have only briefly skimmed this, but it sounds like it would stand out in the post / atmos-sludge circuit quite well.




I usually hate cheesy, synthy blackgaze type stuff, but I think this is so cheesy that I broke through to the other side and actually like where they're going here. Difficult not to get feels. [Facepalm. I just realised I met the guy whose band this is a few months ago).
