I stumbled upon Dalriada by accident on Youtube, the song Téli ének, and my first reaction was: WOW! When I listened to their other stuff, I was more than impressed. Interesting female vocal, great atmosphere, and I never thought Hungarian language would be so nice to listen to (it always sounded a bit harsh and strange to me, especially after listening to Omega and stuff like that). All in all, a fantastic discovery, would love to hear them live someday, they could maybe come to the next Exit Festival

one disk is 2000 hungarian forint, it's less than 8 euro, so really cheap.

Great songs, slower and more folkish than their previous works, but still great.

Dont know all songs, so i cant fairly judge, but it sounds very good, yes

Good album, a follower to Szelek, more folkish and less hard, thou i dont think this counts as an album, half of the songs a rereleases, it's more like a MCD.

My fav song is Szent Lazslo (of the new of course) or however it's written.

EDIT: i find the rereleased version of Walesi better than the previous 2, but the other rereleased are vastly inferior than its original counterparts.

yup the new Walesi Bárdok and Rab Gólya are way better but I found Szondi (both 1 and 2) worse than the original ones.

yup the new Walesi Bárdok and Rab Gólya are way better but I found Szondi (both 1 and 2) worse than the original ones.

A Rab Golya is one of my fav songs from Dalriada, but i didnt like this new, slower version.

Dalriada is one of my fav bands ( folk pagan stuff ) i liked em since they have been called formely as echo of dalriada !!so there album jegbonto is the best they released so far !! most unique song for me its galamb ( mixing great harsh vocals with clean vocals and awesome riffs ) well there lastest albums ( under the name of dalriada ) its more folkish !! i cant hear those harsh vocals anymore ...but still still this band diserve aloot !! they are awesome !! ( respect for hungary )

Galamb is one of my favs too!

Well i like Bornholm the most out of Hungarian folk metal bands...Moonsorrow descendant

Their new album is my first experience with the band. I was really shocked as after hearing the first track I thought the album would be meh , was completely dumbfounded.

well somehwo I agree but maybe band orgin country lil bit make sit underground, I even can not inagene if this band would come from Finland and sing in finish ...... it would be 20 times more overated how it is now
