Well, I also get surprised haha. I save each month for a good Roadburn experience every year and I don't have much hobbies. Guess that helps together with work and few student loans.

EDIT: Also, 5 of the cds were 3 euros a piece (Southern Lord were doing a sale).

Svarti Loghin - Mork Energi (cassette)
Printed and copied them selves, only 30 copies.

Skaphe - Skaphe2 (cassette)
Not usually a massive fan of psychedelic/dissonant bm, but these guys seem to stand out from the rest for me.

Misþyrming - Söngvar elds og óreiðu (cassette)
All ways liked this album and just had to have it in my collection.

Nothing but Nothingness - I: Kolsvärta (cd)
A hypothermia project.

Hypothermia - kaffe and blod II (cassette)
Haven't heard this yet, but I really hope it's like the original kaffe and blod.

Hypothermia - Självdestruktivitet född av monotona tankegångar IV: Warakumbla (test press vinyl)
I already have this on cassette and cd, but I like it so much I need to hear it on vinyl....and I'm a fanboy.

Sunn O))) - Grimrobe Demos (cd)
I need this for my car

Nadja - Queller (cd)
Weird for my tastes, but I have become a big fan of these two.

Some random stuff I found at a second-hand record store I found while chilling in Copenhagen. All in ncie condition, the voivod album was new actually. I got a small scratch on the Gorillaz selftitled caused by me when I dropped it by accident (D'oh!). Currently giving it a listening and fortunately not finding nothing odd yet. Thankfully Cds tend to be very hardy most of the time.

Earth - Hibernaculum
Fantômas - Delìrium Còrdia
Gorillaz - Gorillaz
Gorillaz - Demon Days
Mercyful Fate - Don't Break The Oath
Voivod - Dimension Hatröss (2 CD + DVD)

I have recently acquired no new albums, simply because it's incredibly difficult for me to afford new music (no joke, streaming services are my savior right now). However! As soon as I can find the means to go and afford new albums, you bet your ass I am going down to the record store to order The Forest Seasons, No Grave But the Sea (still listened to it via streaming, awesome record), Blind Guardian's Tales from the Twilight World, a Vision Divine album (the 2012 one), and many others.

I would have some epic reason for why I've been having difficulty acquiring new albums, but the only reason why is because my jobs pay epic amounts of, like, $1.25 an hour. I may as well move to China and become a sweatshop worker given the pay. At least then I'd see how the inside of my phone is made. Sorry, I'm going on a tangent. Rest assured, I am alright and will be acquiring new albums soon. Hence this long post here.

Alcest - Kodama. So much better than Shelter imo, I'm glad they returned to their awesome sound. Lovely digipack design as well!

Drudkh - Blood In Our Wells. Very good album, and I found the first press edition! Pretty cool

Mgla - Exercises in Futility. My favorite raw black metal record, every song on it is just amazing, with song V as the peak

Last album I got is Paul Miro's Sinombré Volume I: All Hope is Gone. It's more rock than metal. It is a concept album about society's demise set in Western America. Volume II will probably come in the next few years.

I got more than two dozen albums since my last post. Dunno when/if I will post about it.

But the most recent are -

Igorrr - Savage Sinusod Digipak (Metal Blade Records) has good art from Metastazis but has no booklet so very disappointed with it as a physical edition.

Psudoku - Deep Space Psudokument Tape (Drid Machine Records)- Bought this because it exists.

Thankfully Cds tend to be very hardy most of the time.

Although I will always prefer Vinyl (mainly because of the sound, but there are other reasons), CDs are the second best way of listening to music. And if you have iTunes, you can just put all your CDs on there and than make an iPod (I use a nano, because it's simple), and then you can easily have all your CDs on the go.

I actually still use my discman every day when I go out. I'm weird like that.

Hey, I have one of those, too!

Coolio! I got mine back in 2005 when it was still sort of relevant haha. It never died on me so I continued to use it. Many ask me if I have to carry tons of cds with me when I go out and usually I just have one on me cuz it's not like I listen to music all the time if I go out (at some point I'll talk to people haha).

I have on a handy discman bag which has with extra slots for cds for long travels though. Another reason besides "I just got used to have it on me all the time" is that I want to actually use my cds besides buying them and burning them on my computer. I struggle with vinyls for this very reason because I haven't installed my recordplayer as i lack speakers and space at the moment.

I got a great haul on monday. Went to Copenhagen and had some fun with the cd stores with some second hand stuff in great condition and even better prices. Shame the ones on my town are sorely lacking (probably cuz there is only one and I already cleaned it haha).

Behemoth - And The Forests Dream Eternally
Old Behemoth has such a nice charm to it! Love the band up to an including Demigod although Demigod was the beginning of the end for me.

Ephel Duath - Rephormula
Always wanted to get stuff from these guys (Pain Necessary To Know is brilliant!) but somehow I always forgot to search online and never found their stuff in real life except once when I didn't really knew the band and I kick myself for it haha.

Godspeed You! Black Emperor - 'Allelujah! Don't Bend! Ascend!
Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Slow Riot For New Zerø Kanada [EP]
Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Yanqui U.X.O.
Love these guys and seeing that they are going to headline Roadburn made me eager to properly enjoy their discography until the day I see them live once again (caught them back in 2015).

Nile - Amongst The Catacombs Of Nephren-Ka
I honestly have never heard their debut haha, I love the three albums that come after it though so I'm expecting great shit.

Slipknot - Slipknot (10th anniversary version)
I guess I just wanted to please the child version fo myself who loved this stuff. There are plenty of songs I still enjoy to this very day.

Winterfylleth - The Fathers Of Albion: An Anthology 2007-2013 [Boxset]
A great way to get into a band that I always wanted to check out but never did. Now I got no excuse haha.
