Vinterriket is a good band.It's more dark ambient than black metal and though it was formed in 1996 the first demo was released in 2000, and it's a one-man-band, Christoph Ziegler plays all instruments but in 2004 the band joined Nocternity. Anyhow "Winterschatten" and "und die Nacht kam Schweren Schrittes " are great albums...

I disagree. While they are talented, most of their songs are just average. With the exception of Beyond the Dark Sun and Death and the Healing.....

Very funny

Machinae Supremacy is quite talented... Check the Jets 'n' Guns Soundtrack... Really cool.... I like it a lot, since it's not the usual stereotype Power Metal Voice... it's really nice

Turisas, (yeah i know they formed in 1997, but there debut full album was in 2004).

sweet folk metal, not just average folk metal with just synth, they throw in actual accordians and violins, as well as a range of different vocals styles (5 by my count)

I had listen this album ''Winterschatten'' and I wasnt in wright mood for it so I delite it

But I agree this band after 2000 has recordet about 20 CD maybe more who knows

@wurzel - IMo Tursias dont count because thay had demo in 1997 and 1998 so thay start playing earlyer but EP and album comes out after 2000 so it counts and same time dont counts.

In this case Moonsoorow has first album in 2001 but demo 1994 or something

Man they recordet in year a lot of demo, maybe 4-7 and some band sdo it, lock Moonblood discography, even in MA and check this band, some BM bands has so mamy demos, about 40 but albums maybe 3
Its easy if ou hawe no private life and gourement pay social garanties

Pagan's Mind released a shitload of material in one year? I just checked their discography again and it doesn't look like it to me...

Good point Kariasakis...I guess if you have no life and the government pays everything so that you don't have to work, you can focus on nothing but producing music from when you wake up to when you go to sleep...

Vinterriket has 40 releases all together and it's not THAT good. the bm albums are ok, sometimes good, but the other albums are just all-ambient-crap. I mean there's no way you can like every album from that guy. it is boring. and it's hard even to start off with this band, learning his stuff is equal to climbing the everest

Nocternity, on the other hand, is a fantastic band. they formed back in '96 but only in 2001 was relased Crucify Him. Their best album is Onyx, one obsession of mine. Highly recommended

Nebelkorona is good, but I have only heard the single. I dunno if the LP is out yet.

I highly agree. They're Nu, but they're a different Nu, Dan Donegan is a great guitar player, he proves it on the 10.000 Fists album, and David's voice is awesome. They're deffinitely a highpoint in Nu metal, amnd one of my favorite bands

i think "the sickness"is the best album of disturbed!! TTF is also nice, but belive hm... a little bit too quiet i think!
