ok this is a heavy metal album with trash elements lol, so tell me which heavy metal album is like Death Magnetic, I want to hear such albums more.

i don't know many as i do listen a lot to heavy but the last album of anthrax is heavy metal with thrash moments as DM...

We've Come For You All he means. And yes that is also a heavy metal album with thrash moments just like Death Magnetic. Although the two sound nothing alike. But then again it doesn't have to sound like exactly something else to belong to the same group/

when you call Lamb of God, a thrash metal in MS, then you can call We've Come For You as a heavy metal album.
this is a really metalcore album and some songs are comparable with Lamb of God works thats all, has nothing with Death Magnetic.

Lamb Of God's As The Palaces Burn is purely thrash just like Slayer.

As The Palaces Burn is their second album and only after Ashes For The Wake did they go more into metalcore territory and actually not even that.

no man he didn't change his words. you are wrong. he said firstly that "as the palaces burn" is thrash as slayer. not the whole lamb of god discography. i do not agree with that a lot as i find it a bit more melodic and not that fast but he... said it!!!

It is absolutly impossible for this album to be Thrash metal, or any other kind of metal. It is absolutly dreadful. Metallica hasn't been thrash metal since St. Anger. and they never will be again. they are washed up hacks that need to just quit. they are doing nothing for metal exept make every true metal head look like pussies, and basicly hand metal over to the mainstream. and now we have all of these terrible bands that claim to be metal. Bands like Disturbed, Slipknot, System Of A Down, etc. my point is Metallica needs to quit.

It's not Trash (nor Thrash), imo.

In my opinion Death Magnetic kinda brings Metallica back... i find that this album was better then most of there stuff from the 90'... like this album i wouldn't really say is Thrash but it's getting back to that... but that's my Opinion

you always talkin out of topic, so I dont have any answers for you. but I do never believe in genres man. and the reason of this topic is to enlighten this thing !!! when MS says this is a heavy metal album why 25 ppl voted for Thrash ? thats why I dont believe in genres. and to be honest alot of old metalheads are agree with me for sure, all of us know that a lot of ppl (specially who dont come to MS) call it a thrash album but as a 21th thrash album not as 8o's. and again I dont believe in genres cause genres are nothing but a way of finding similar bands for me and in a lot of cases genres lied to me. but oftenly they helped me just for finding my taste of music. and this poll is a good example for my words about genres.

There is no doubt that Death Magnetic has it's trashy moments, and i think there are enough of them to call it a Trash metal, it is mixed with alot of melodic heavy metal to, maybe thats why you diehard old school trash metal fans gets confused;)
