Doesn't look like anyone has mentioned Ensiferum's cover of "Into Hiding" by Amorphis, which is really good. I hate to admit that hearing that was how I discovered Amorphis. Another one I didn't see listed is Amon Amarth's cover of "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath." It's a shame the production on it is so bad.

I can't remeber seeing War Pigs by Sacred Reich and Faith No More (though their version of War Pigs isn't too good tbh) here or Massacre's Dawn Of Eternity by Thanatos as well as Dark Angel's The Burning Of Sodom by Thanatos or Trouble's Come Touch The Sky by Church Of Misery or Motorhead's Orgasmatron by Sepultura or Pentagram's 20 Buck Spin by Pale Divine or In A Gadda Da Vida (not really metal) by both Slayer and Church Of Misery or Saint Vitus' War Is Our Destiny by Church Of Misery or loads of covers done by Coffin etc etc There are soooo many good covers around it is impossible to list them all

I know it's been mentioned; but, one of my favorites is Death's version of JP's 'Painkiller'. I also like Mystic Prophecy's version of Manowar's 'Fighting the World'.

Dreamscape covered Dancing with Tears in My Eyes by Ultravox, really enjoyable. Tad Morose's cover of Uriah Heep's Rainbow Demon is great and so is their cover of Accept's Losing More than You Ever Had. Shadow Gallery covered Entangled by Genesis and it was really good. WASP' s cover of Easy Living (Uriah heep) was simply amazing. I'll be back if/when I remember more covers.

Well, I discovered this thread by accident, used the search-this-topic option for "coroner" and no results were found. So if some of you haven't heard Coroner's cover of The Beatles' "I Want You (She's So Heavy)," check it out. It's one of the most amazing covers I have ever heard in my life.
