for me it is Stratovarius its one of my favorite bands, i love everything on it , the vocals (Kotipelto is the best damn singer ever) , the guitars are just perfect, the keyboards too , bass and drums are outstanding, yes i know that most of the songs of Stratovarius have the same structure but i still love those guys;D

Moonsorrow, by far. Followed by Eternal Tears of Sorrow. Due to fact I really dislike all other bands (except for Amorphis, but I'm not a fan tho). It's hard to explain, it's a matter of opinion and I dislike power stuff + I'm a fan of Moonsorrow and that's it, as plain as it is.

COB is by far the best band out of Finland because of how amazing their music is considering the amount they drink.

I voted for COB but it was difficult to choose between them and Naildown, but since COB has released more good albums than Naildown (they only have 1 album in general  ) they got my vote

Eternal Tears Of sorrow got only 7 votes  , anyway i voted for them and it was hard decision beccause almost all my fav. band's are from Finland .Moonsorrow is the 2nd fav. band from Finland IMO . btw interesting poll

HIM!!! OH VILLE IS SO HOT!! HAHA....just joking.... I'd say we can't forget that Finland has Lordi....I really admire them...and we might say thanks to them people may understand metal better as well....I would also point out Tarot....definitely very talented men.....and of course....about the bands that are listed I say that Sonata Arctica is a band whose music is marvellous.....it is sentimental...the same time it is like a Duracell bunny...always going and going....well...I'd mention Nightwish as well....but everyone already knows that Nightwish is the second Nokia aye....

I would say Ensiferum, but out of that list I picked Nightwish. I love Bodom, and Eternal Tears of Sorrow, but to me Nightwish is just fucking epic.

huh..... I didnt vote. Because I'd like to vote for almost all of this bands from the list. Finland is full of great bands. For me the best are COB, Moonsorrow, Finntroll, Wintersun, Nightwish...... I cant really chose.

Amorphis of course! and then Nightwish at their past's best times! I 'd also say Stratovarius but one whole year after their concert here I cannot still relax! They only played one hour and a quarter and Timo Tolkie got on stage with a NIKE trouser..FFS! You are on concert man!

Wintersun is the best band in Finland! They have so nice melodic guitars. I hope they could top their amazing first album with the new one.

I'm going to vote for other because even though I like Moonsorrow and Children of Bodom form the list a lot, my favorite is Wintersun. Jari is very talented, he really can do no wrong and I can't wait for their upcoming album.
