Sorry about that!
haha no problem, I though that DMP has postponed the release date and you deleted it because of that uncertainty. It went pretty well with "J.N. deleting his own staff pick" habit, though

The dude from Debemur Morti Productions wrote this in reply of a comment about putting the EP on bandcamp:
"Don't take it wrong but I have to say I miss the time where such things as Bandcamp didn't exist and where you were anxious to receive a release, unpack it and discover what you purchased. A proper ritual ! Those who get this release will know more of my opinion on this topic. This release will be available on Bandcamp at some point. Not today."
Even though I'm not in a place where I can acquire a physical copy of the EP, I found what he wrote really cool! Especially when it's an investment in something that'll probably be rewarding (it's BaN for god's sake).

I'm sure I'm not speaking for everyone on this, but I personally find that a bit silly. To me Bandcamp is just a good facilitator of the "try before you buy" type of marketing strategy. Why would I want to buy something when I'm not completely sure of its quality? That's happened too many times to me at CD and record stores where I buy something because its album cover looks exciting, and it turns out to be complete shit. With Bandcamp, you can decide if you like, and then purchase upon that decision. And people may say "well why buy when you can just access it there?" but I'm pretty sure the average person would prefer a physical copy for immediate access to having to log online every time they want to hear it.

I agree 100% with you on this matter, but it's Blut Aus Nord we're talking about and the fans know what to expect. I don't want the labels to travel back through time to the pre-Bandcamp/Soundcloud/whatever era, but this is Debemur Morti's 100th release and I understand why they wanted it to be special (if you follow Debemur Morti on facebook, you'll find that they're really progressive with their approach to promoting their stuff).

Find the 'Lighteater' 7'' especially intriguing as that was supposed to be the name of the follow up to Thematic Emanation of Archetypal Multiplicity all those years ago.

Not bad, compositionally good but once again suffers heavily from that 777-like production (only a little more raw). Just too sharp sounding for my taste. Kind of feels like an EP made between Sect(s) and The Desanctification really. Was hoping for something more MoRT-like but I'll take it.
The cover is indeed quite good.

It took a while to believe since it was meant to sound like MoRT but I really loved this one and I'm not sure why. Production is a lot better than the first two parts of 777. Also, not really much similar to sect(s) on my ears. More like the combination of P.H.O.B.O.S's second album and Desanctification.
Hopefully, they will come up with the follow up of MoRT and TEoAM in future.

I didn't say it sounded like Sect(s) btw, I said it sounded like an EP made between the two albums; the harsh, sharp nature of Sect(s) with the industrialised songwriting of The Desanctification

aha sorry, that makes sense now. Initially, since this EP is much slower than sect(s) in terms of drumming and guitar riffing your statement sounded odd to me.

I like it. Teraktys was a welcome surprise, and in terms of Lighteater I agree with the above.

Agreed 100%
Also, if I were to buy every album on Bandcamp of which I like the artwork without listening to it, I'd have wasted a ton of money. So that just prooves your point.

One of the very few BaN releases that left me totally unimpressed - if not bored to death. Thankfully this was just an EP, and they got back on track with MVIII.
