Ministry called it quits a few years back, decided to give it another shot with last year's release Relapse, all seemed honky dory, they went into the studio to make more magic happen and then, once again, real life threw a major wrench into Uncle Al's plans for a revitalized version of the band. With that being said, I won't compare this album to the rest of Ministry's discography, but rather review it on the merit of what it portrays.

Album name reminiscent of the good old days. ie dark side of the spoon, the mind is a terrible thing to taste. have only heard the single Permawar so far didnt hate it but didnt love it either. Laughed that he was using Obama quotes now rather than Bush quotes

Relapse was beyond mediocre. One of the worst of Al's in recent memory. Beers is far superior with him actually showing some consistency again finally. Hardly perfect, but it actually feels like a Ministry album for a change at least and the best one in ages easy. 'Permawar' is teh weakest track and does not show what this album is; there are a handful of the more modern Ministry style metal tracks, but this is by far the most industrial record he's made in decades.

Uninspired, dumb lyrics. Last two tracks are somewhat enjoyable.

Criminally underrated record... this one and Relapse as well. These have to be some of the best Ministry records...

Relapse blows, but this is a much better record.
