Going to see them in May and im so excited !! One of my favourite bands and I finally get the chance to see them, YAY!!

Album not going to be released until June? Well thats good I guess, would of liked to grab it before I see them.. guess this means we'll be able to hear some stuff before its released

Enjoy, they were my first real Metal show and they are still my favorite. They were awesome.

Nile is a great band...I love their whole Egyptian theme. They're a very talented band thats for sure.

Not sure. Karl Sanders said on the Nile forum that he's gone and that's all I know.

That's unfortunate. Joe is a very talented guy.

A different but still brutal DM band, and they rip on songs like Smashing the Antiu and Serpent Headed Mask

I KNOW! theyll be the only good thing there.

Thank you very much, belive it or not, there was a little inside of me that thought Nile had sold out, but thats gone completely.

Karl can say that he want's to play to "lay waste to thousands and thousands of mall metal posers" all he wants. But I guarantee that the exposure Ozzfest will give them played a large part in his decision.

As long as their sound doesnt change, Im not concerned about the attraction from mallcore kids....

Like that is what he really wants. I find it hard to believe him.

But it is his own right and I don't care.

I mean, if presenting Nile at ozzfest means more revenue then good for Nile, who doesnt want more money? And dont other big bands perform there too? And I doubt that 100% of all the people who go there are mallcore douches, quite a few people I know went there to see Arch Enemy, Iron Maiden etc.

Yeah, I just dread hearing everyone calling Nile sellouts from now on.

i wish they would come in tour here too.if not, i hope i'll have the chance next year to go see them in some other place.till then, i'm waiting for suffocation in may:D

I love this kind of shit people... Nile is one of my favorite band due to its agressiveness besides technical riffs ...

I am very excitied because the day before Ozzfest comes Nile is playing on off show with a few bands in a small venue. They are playing with Diskreet, another band, and a local band here Tear At the Walls, the guitarist of which actually produces my friends music here in town, of which I got to work with and was featured on one of his songs, MCing, naturally. Anyway, it should be one fantastic show.

lol yah, they're also playing an off date over here, but they still are playing 2 different Ozzfest dates in Washington, so I could see them 3 times in a month if I wanted to.
