Elend is an Austrian/French combo of? Well hum? That's hard to classify this very original combo, and I could say that it's Gothic/Symphonic. Here don't expect electric guitars and this kind of instruments. In fact, we are rather in the category of bands like Chaostar. Just finished this album for the first time with all lights out. Don't let the bright-looking artwork fool you... This music is darker than night and just as elegant. This is music where words like "epic" and "atmospheric" really have a meaning. The choirs and cellos are almost violent in their unexpected behaviour. Then again... This applies to all Elend albums.
